Pigeon Island gets the confident vote here with Cape Greko and Singing Wizard rating the main dangers. The selection has been in good form of late and although he was beaten at odds-on last time out when third behind Middleton Dene, he looks sure to appreciate this faster ground and shorter trip and looks the one to be on. Cape Greko rates the main danger on his latest third behind Osprey View. He is sure to improve but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Singing Wizard is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Toni Alcala but he is becoming exposed and again he looks vulnerable. Of the remainder Rood Report would have place claims on his best form but has been pulled up on his last two starts so cannot be put forward with any confidence, and with this in mind Pigeon Island looks the one to be on.
