PARLOUR MAID won a point-to-point before joining Richard Hawker, for whom she won a hurdle at Towcester last May. She was second at Ludlow last month and should handle the switch to fences. The Kings Writ won twice between the flags at the end of last year but hadn’t shown much under Rules previously, though is likely to make a better chaser than hurdler. Oneida Tribe another winning pointer, has shown some ability over hurdles and has similar credentials to Pinch Of Ginger, who was going well enough when falling at Sedgefield.
