Verdict

Spinning Waters appears to need faster ground both on the Flat and over hurdles while Capricornus made several mistakes on his reappearance at Huntingdon and was well beaten. Sally's Idea has shown promise but hasn't run since January and needed her comeback run last year while Second Brook has been beaten in sellers. RUBY VALENTINE dead-heated for a similar class event at Stratford in May and wasn't disgraced at a slightly higher grade the following month. She could just be good enough to take this moderate affair.
