Verdict

Quite an interesting maiden hurdle where MARSH WARBLER is given the verdict. Brian Ellison's gelding followed up a win in a Leicester seller on the Flat with a good debut in this sphere at Market Rasen on Sunday, when he travelled well for a long way. With that experience a positive he can prove good enough today with the ground appearing to be ideal. Beneath may do better now switched to this game after a series of handicap defeats on the level at trips from 10f to 1m 6f. He should act with cut and the same goes for Alan King's runner Dhaafer, who would be feared if backed, although stamina is a concern on inspection of his pedigree. Bonfire Knight should improve for his Wetherby introduction but has it prove on ground this soft and Royal And Ancient may fare better.
