    Verdict

Fortescue ran below par on good going at Exeter on his comeback but will appreciate today’s underfoot conditions and better is expected. But ACCORDINGTOGINO seems more versatile as regards the ground given he won in heavy going over hurdles last season and scored over fences at Warwick last month in first-time headgear. He stays well and makes more appeal than Snuff Box, who placed in a lower grade at Lingfield on his return to action while Brian Hughes takes over the reins on Dieu Vivant and the latter is worth a second glance.
