Verdict

Catchamat landed a double in novice company at the start of the year but has his first start since while Ballyrock will find this tougher than the seller he won at Hexham during the summer. Western Rules is upped in class after a pipe-opener at Wetherby but Tawseef won at Kelso before going close again at Haydock last week. The latter looks the one to beat but BRYDEN BOY (NAP) may be up to the task if back to his best after last month’s comeback run given Jennie Candish’s charge won a Class 2 handicap at Doncaster in March off a similar mark to today's.
