Verdict

Kack Handed has his first run for Tim Vaughan so expect him to be spot-on for a yard that does so well with horses moving from other yards. An absence of over 100 days presents no problem but he's only been seen over timber once since the autumn of 2009 and may find this too sharp. Bhaltair made a solid hurdling debut at Cartmel after showing promise in bumpers and and must go well, whilst Bajan Parkes has been running to a fair level on the Flat. Brian Ellison is having a tremendous year and RAVI RIVER has been in fine form for the yard in the current Flat season, with two wins amongst a series of good efforts. He should be good enough if translating that form to hurdles, whilst the booking of the champion jockey indicates connections mean business.
