In depth

Verdict

A small-field bumper finishes things but at least we've seen all of these before and based on those limited efforts we select WYMOTT to go one better than his debut and score with chances also awarded to Glebehall Bay and Nick The Dreamer. The pick from Don McCain's yard ran a very pleasing debut, only finding a subsequent winner and potentially-useful sort too good. We can rightly expect him to improve from that run and the stable's form is also a plus. Nick The Dreamer has had three attempts to get off the mark in bumpers and so far his much-improved effort to land a place last time is his strongest. We don't know how good that form will be and a lot of progress will have to be made to score here. Paddy The Pirate and Voramar both have claims on the prize pot based on solid-looking debuts but the formline from Wymott's only run rates as strongest.
