Aye Aye Skipper is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and generally goes well here, though is still 7lb higher than his last victory. Princess Way had been running exclusively on the all-weather circuit before tackling fast going at Lingfield where she won with something in hand. She then defied a 4lb rise to make all at Ffos Las, when the favourite Silverturnstogold could only finish fourth. She's up another 3lb but has an obvious chance of completing a hat-trick in similar grade. The latter's stable companion ALTAIRA looks to have more of a chance as he's won twice around here, leading at this trip when successful over 1m2f last month before finding an even longer trip stretching his stamina on a return visit. Big Bad Lol has yet to win on Turf but hasn't been beaten far at this level in recent races and should get into contention.
