In depth

Verdict

There's a good chance that First Secretary will show considerable improvement now granted a stiffer test of stamina but we have to stick with ALZAVOLA now that he's hit form. Sir Mark Prescott's filly only beat two rivals over 1m2f here last week and now carries a penalty but she never came off the bridle and can grind these into submission over the extra quarter-mile. See And Be Seen only won a weak Brighton handicap last month but still makes more appeal than plater Rancher, who was engaged at Nottingham yesterday, and the less-exposed Hattie Jacques.
