Verdict

Ballinger Express disappointed last time but is given a chance to atone here, with Lady Protector and Boavista capable of making life difficult. Andrew Balding's filly never got into the race at Windsor last week won by David's Mark, but is better judged on her previous outing when chasing home Wunderbra. That winner put up a decent effort at the same track on Sunday so the form looks rock solid and Ballinger Express is expected to show her true colours today. Lady Protector holds her form well and produced the usual standard when a close up third in a competitive event at Goodwood recently and must take a hand in the finish again today. Meanwhile Boavista has gone close in two classified events and looks well treated on her return to handicapping. Jinksonthehouse ran well at Windsor on Sunday and if she does take part she will be a danger to all. So a very tricky event , but Ballinger Express is taken to bounce back to her best.
