Verdict

Cerito is taken to win on his debut with Entrancer and Master of Disguise both worth noting. The selection comes from the Mick Channon yard who have an excellent strike rate at producing first time out winners. As always the market will pose as a good guide to his chances but the fact that he would have to be no world beater and with a top jockey booked means he has more ticks to his name compared to many of his rivals. Entrancer has experience on his side with two runs under his belt. He improved from his debut finishing third of eight at Brighton last time where he seemed to handle the tight turns. It is difficult to be confident with any horse who has had two runs as connections will be keen to look for a decent handicap mark after its third run and for that reason is to be treated with some caution. Master of Disguise is interesting as Clive Cox has his team of horses in cracking form and is enjoying first time out two year old winners also so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Cerito.
