Circuitous was third on his debut at Kempton in December but ran no sort of race when favourite at Nottingham nine days ago. That can't have been his true running and he is one of the more likely winners of this but preference is for PEARL STORM. William Haggas' gelding could never get competitive after missing the break on his reappearance at Ripon but may have needed that run, his first for almost a year, and is worth another chance. Black Cadillac was strongly fancied for a Lingfield maiden last month but weakened quickly in the closing stages. This drop in distance could prove ideal and he shouldn't be ignored.
