    Verdict

TALK OF THE NORTH got off the mark at Wolverhampton last week when giving the impression today's longer trip would suit. Laura Pike's claim negates a 5lb rise and Hugo Palmer's filly can go in again. Daring Damsel was below par at Kempton last time when Tantamount was fifth but had finished ahead of Silver Samba and Lady Romanza at the same track before that. It was heavy going when Kozmina Bay scored at Yarmouth last month and Shannon Spree makes more appeal stepping up in trip today.
