      Verdict

Mesyaal is our selection in this contest with Fault and Fauigh Mor as the alternatives. Mick Channon's charge has yet to register a success but he has shaped with a degree of promise in maidens and it looks as if connections probably had this grade in mind for him. Fault ran a stinker at Windsor last time out. This was a surprise given how he impressed on introduction. Fuaigh Mor landed a gamble in a seller on debut. She has had trouble taking on better fillies in Novice stakes and this could be a more realistic engagement. Peter Winkworth's Sonador ran well at Brighton so could go well at this tricky circuit. Nativity has not been getting home over six furlongs and can be anticipated to make the running. Bethie placed at 100/1 on her latest start. Speak The Truth looks difficult to fancy. Mesyaal appears to have the best chance having considered the opposition.
