In depth

Verdict

Bute Street scored over 1m6f at Wolverhampton last week having finished behind Six Of Clubs at Lingfield before that. The latter has done all his winning on the all-weather, however, and so has Rosewood Lad which is why Stan Moore's charge can race off a 9lb lower mark back on this surface. With doubts surrounding the aforementioned, a chance is taken on MINISTEROFTHEINTERIOR as he went close over a shorter trip at Musselburgh last time and the five-time hurdle winner should have no problem with today's extra distance. The majority of the remainder are struggling for form with useful hurdler Salontyre making most appeal of those.
