In depth

Verdict

Quite A Story swerved on leaving the stalls and unseated Adam Kirby when favourite at Salisbury nine days ago and will be fancied to gain compensation here. Potternello finished fourth in that race and has been dropped 2lb since but still hasn't won outside of selling company. Little is also a plater while Reflation isn't getting any nearer and Sirdaab has shown nothing in two runs this term. MC DIAMOND's form figures are uninspiring but he wasn't beaten far over a similar trip at Doncaster in June and has tumbled down the weights since. He could spring a surprise here as he seems suited by fast ground.
