In depth

Verdict

The second race at Bath could be a keen handicap with 14 pounds between the top and bottom weight, but the main contenders are likely to be KINGSDINE, Cool Kitten and Motty's Gift. We feel that the progressive Kingsdine who is yet to get on the scoresheet may have found the right race to get past the post first. The bay colt finished a decent second on good to firm ground at Bath over course and distance, only a head behind It's A Deal. With only a three pound rise for that performance we have marked Kingsdine as the one to win on our card. In the same race, Sultan's Choice was back in sixth finishing seven lengths behind the winner. However, the high draw back then may have disadvantaged Sultan's Choice who is more interesting from stall two in this race and will be looking to make an improvement. Cool Kitten and Motty's Gift were seen most recently in late April as they battled it out at Folkestone. Cool Kitten won the race and Motty's Gift finished fourth. They are expected to challenge but we side with Kingsdine.
