Verdict

Field Gun’s earlier win at Chelmsford came over 7f and Union Rose is preferred over today’s trip after placing at Chepstow last time. Coronation Cottage ran poorly here after winning at Windsor while course winner Three Little Birds is having her first start since November. Delagate This Lord landed a double here in 2017 though hasn’t won since but RED ALERT recorded a course and distance double in September and is back on a winning mark. Tony Carroll’s charge should find this easier than his latest task at Ascot and gets the vote.
