        Verdict

With Milton Bradley's team in such fine form Brevity must come into the equation, along with the likes of Adobe, Start Over, Shore Vision and Wind Chime, who makes a quick reappearance having won with something in hand at Warwick on Sunday, and he is taken to defy his penalty. Now six, Tony Newcombe's gelding looked better than ever at the weekend and even though he got first run on his rivals that day, he did win with plenty up his sleeve and he should again take care of Adobe on 6lbs worse terms. The latter isn't the easiest to win with, but he does go well on fast ground and will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Brevity hasn't won for nearly two years and as a consequence has tumbled down the handicap. He is 20lbs lower than his last winning mark, but has never won beyond six-furlongs. The enigmatic Shore Vision may provide the biggest danger, even though he has yet to win on turf. He is fully effective on a fast surface, as he showed when chasing home Basinet at Windsor last week and while he is greatly feared, Wind Chime knows how to win and is taken to complete the hat-trick.
