Prominna has a penalty for last week’s victory at Nottingham and any rain would aid his cause as he prefers some give, a remark that also applies to Our Oystercatcher, who has been going well in better company. Storm Melody has gone up a massive 9lb for a comfortable victory over slightly further here last time though he’s also won from higher. The assessor gave Big Lachie a chance over the extended 5f here last time and he led at the furlong pole until collared close home. He was giving the winner lumps of weight and looks to have as good a chance as any in a wide-open handicap.
