      Verdict

      Marco Ghiani is making a name for himself and could steer COTTON CLUB (NAP) to a second course victory. His mount was third over 1m6f here last month before finding soft ground against him at Catterick. Sacred Sprite was favourite on his only previous run on Turf so is worth another chance while Contingency Fee has placed over 2m on the all-weather, though this trip could stretch his stamina. Silver Character has shown little over hurdles this summer and Lady Natasha is even harder to fancy from well out of the handicap.
