In depth

Verdict

None of these are easily dismissed but Blakeney Point has yet to race in soft going and St Michel opened his account on the all-weather at Chelmsford last time. Snan is upped a grade after scoring on a fast surface at Haydock while it’s difficult to separate Rainbow Dreamer and Emperor Napoleon after they finished in close proximity at Haydock last month when a long way behind the progressive Red Verdon. PROJECT BLUEBOOK has been beaten in a couple of subsequents starts since scoring over 1m4f at Beverley but he’s back on testing ground for the first time since and gets a tentative vote in an open contest.
