In depth

Verdict

Last year's winner Red Millennium will appreciate any rain ahead of a repeat bid and makes plenty of appeal. However, with Damalis in the field, she is sure to be taken on for the lead and may again set the race up for a fast finisher. Swiss Lake fits the bill as she also has speed to burn. She was coming together nicely last season and has a good chance of heading off the penalised Palace Affair and Vita Spericolata near the finish. Autumnal also warrants respect but is hard to catch right and may be better with a few outings under her belt.
