THE PARISHIONER had shown glimpses of ability before running into a well-supported and well handicapped winner in a Kilbeggan handicap where he was conceding 15lb. Compensation awaits here as though Poetic Lord has been running well he's penalised for his Flat victories. Rebel Laker has shown plenty of promise on soft ground and it remains to be seen how he handles today's conditions, a remark that also applies to KIlliney Court, who made too many mistakes at Sligo last time. Tulsa Jack followed a very good run at Down Royal with a poor effort in a huge field at Fairyhouse and is better than that run indicates.
