In depth

Verdict

Round Tower finally got off the mark in a Ballinrobe maiden but hasn't been done any favours by the assessor and this is much tougher. Tulsa Jack failed to take advantage of a much lower hurdles rating at Galway after scoring over fences at Kilbeggan though he remains very well treated. Scenic Star won over 2m7f at Downpatrick and found the minimum trip much too short at Tramore last time while Crosshue Boy failed to handle very fast ground at Limerick after landing a Punchestown maiden. GARRI RUA landed a handicap at Galway and started favourite at Tipperary last week but didn't enjoy front-running and weakened quickly. That run should be forgiven and he can get back to winning ways.
