Verdict

A good turnout. Roi De Dubai is interesting, having returned from an absence of nearly a year to run well in a couple of chases, winning the last day at Wexford. He's difficult to assess though back over hurdles but is certainly not discounted. Thousand Tears landed a large-field handicap when last seen but an 8lb rise may hinder further progress, whilst both Good World, with two wins from his last three starts, and useful dual purpose performer, Aprils Joy, also make appeal in an open race. CLONBURY BRIDGE is enjoying an excellent season for the Dempseys and the impressive Galway winner has conditions to suit. He can defy his latest 9lb punishment from the assessor.
