In depth

Verdict

EBADANI won this on soft ground a year ago and the going was again on the easy side when he scored at Galway at the beginning of this month. It was quicker ground when he ran poorly back there a couple of weeks later so with conditions in his favour he can repeat his success of a year ago. Vale Do Sol has had very little racing but looked a nice prospect when storming away with a Navan handicap though the assessor has had his say with a 10lb rise. Sophie's World went to Galway with a big chance and started favourite but disappointed while Corker Hill was well beaten on her only start over a trip this far. Benkei arrives in the form of his life though he's another with a 10lb rise to contend with after his victory over two miles at Galway.
