Verdict

New Kid In Town was described as a good ground horse by his trainer after he carried Patrick Mullins to victory in a Cork maiden but wouldn't run here unless thought capable of handling the conditions. Getting Late ran poorly at Kilbeggan in June after landing a Downpatrick maiden but Top Of The Town ran reasonably well in a tough handicap at Galway after his maiden success. NA TRACHTALAI ABU has been steadily improving and followed his victory in a Limerick handicap with a narrow defeat from 5lb higher at Roscommon. He had Point Of Rescue behind that day and can again get the better of Nina Carberry's mount and take this.
