Verdict

Catwilldo landed this a year ago when the going was fast, which is her best surface, though she remains very well treated on Turf. Pillar ran quite well in a Limerick claimer last time though he's another whose best form is on quicker ground. Bambari has only had five runs and has shown a bit more sparkle in his two latest races but CALM BAY can carry his big weight to another victory on what will be his 100th start. It's a year since he last won but has dropped 18lb in the meantime and showed that he's not finished yet with a good run at Down Royal.
