Verdict

Imperial Sound won well over course and distance on his debut and can progress again and score here from Melachrist and Bond City. The selection looked progressive when scoring that day while Bond City scrambled home at Carlisle and has more to find. Melachrist also won well over course and distance last time and has a nine-pound weight pull with the selection for the three-and-a-half lengths he finished behind him 15 days ago. In theory, that should make it close between them but we reckon that there is much better to come from Imperial Sound and, accordingly he gets the vote.
