Verdict

Experience is often crucial in two-year-old races at this time of year and FLY FISHER will have gleaned considerable benefit from his first run at Ripon, where he finished strongly having missed the break. Well drawn here, Richard Fahey's colt can open his account today. Stripped Bear disappointed at Wolverhampton after finishing second at Southwell and has a bit to prove now while Mace The Ace didn't show a great deal at Pontefract. Pick of the newcomers could be Space Artist, who is related to several winning sprinters, though Indian Jade is also worth a second look if the market speaks in his favour.
