        Verdict

        WHOZART is taken to land the opener at the expense of Missus Molly Brown and Monte Major. The selection caught the eye last time out when finishing a close second to Miacarla at Hamilton. The handicapper has raised him two pounds for that effort but he still looks more than capable of winning a handicap off his current mark so he is worth staying on the right side of for the time being. Missus Molly Brown has not won since breaking her maiden tag at Carlisle last August but she has run well in defeat on more than one occasion this season. She was a good second at Ripon on her penultimate outing and ran with credit at the same venue last time out and if she is able to recapture her best from she can be in the shake-up. Monte Major is another to note after showing solid form in his last two efforts on the all weather and any market moves should be monitored.
