Strong Man ran well in a similar grade handicap here last month but connections won't be pleased with a 3lb rise in the weights. Trail Blaze, who was winning from a mark of 90 last spring, has fallen from grace and is now 12lb lower. BEAUTIFUL STRANGER had been threatening to win and did so at Pontefract where he caught Harwood's Volante on the line. The runner-up has run well since so the form should be good enough for this. Tommy's Secret found 7f too sharp at Newmarket while Janaab has failed in this grade before but Red Charmer ran a cracking race when just failing to hold off the in-form So It's War over the track and trip last month.
