Verdict

GRITSTONE is favoured at the weights with his three-year-old allowance and can prove good enough to beat the older horses, with conditions and trip to suit. Richard Fahey's charge is 7lb higher than when obliging at Hamilton last time and will take plenty of beating. The ultra-consistent Jonny Lesters Hair would not be winning out of turn but the assessor may just have his measure and that of Celtic Change, who fits a similar profile. Norwegian Dancer has a squeak but will need to pull out more than of late to win from a poor draw and Gritstone can see them off.
