    Verdict

Jeepster has already put Bendarshaan in his place on a couple of occasions this season and is fancied to uphold the form and is the one for us here. Fortune Island won well last time and rates as a bigger threat to the selection than Trust Rule and Vicars Destiny, who are respected but have to pull something out of the fire. Vicars Destiny is an out-and-out stayer that is a game and consistent performer. However, she has never won off a mark this high on the Flat before and there has to be the suspicion that the handicapper is in control at present. Trust Rule also has something to prove on the balance of recent form and, even though he is on a fair mark, it is now the best part of two years since he actually threatened to win a race. Therefore, with all things considered, Jeepster looks the safest option, as he is in good heart, unexposed at the trip and can be relied upon to give his all it comes down to a scrap for the line.
