Verdict

Rousayan has won here in the past and was second over course and distance two runs ago but he’s poorly drawn and his stable is in the midst of a terrible run of form. The maiden Jamais Assez could also have been better drawn and has never encountered going this quick. Joe Fanning rides San Rafael rather than fellow three-year-old Gobi Sunset and the bottom weight could go well while Michael Dods is also doubly represented. PROUD ARCHI has a better starting position than Byron's Choice and is now 3lb lower than his last winning mark so gets a tentative vote with many of those likely to be prominent in the betting drawn towards the outside
