Verdict

Sprint handicaps here are notoriously difficult to predict but backers should get a run for their money out of WAKING WARRIOR. Kevin Ryan's four-year-old has yet to win on Turf but has been knocking on the door over this trip lately and is still well treated. He's just preferred to Fear Nothing, though David O'Meara's charge certainly doesn't owe connections anything after rattling up a hat-trick last month and he gets on well with 7lb claimer David Bergin. Select Committee is often in the firing-line here and Cocktail Charlie is starting to look well handicapped but Indian Trail's best days are behind him and he's been unable to cash in on a tumbling mark over the last couple of years.
