In depth

Verdict

Plenty of these are enjoying consistently solid seasons, all of which makes for an open contest. David Lanigan, enjoying a high strike rate from an ultra-select number of runners, is most adept at placing his charges and Take A Turn should go well for the yard although he may just need to come down a few more pounds to get his head in front. Weather Front is admirably reliable but maybe is better served by an artificial surface at present and there's little between Golconda Prince and IDEAL CANDY on the book. However, the latter is likely to prove open to further progression and can follow up a game course and distance success here last month off a 4lb higher mark. Blue Reflection has shown ability in novice company and is one to watch now her attentions are turned to handicapping.
