In depth

Verdict

ARCAVALLO had looked a certain future winner in his races over 6f and showed that a stiff 5f on ground with some give is just what he requires when making all here a couple of weeks ago when the newcomer Biddy Brady showed up well for a long way. He has a penalty to carry but looks better than Hamilton winner Undercover Brother, well beaten in a York nursery last time. Tale Of Tails made a promising start at Nottingham but didn't appreciate Newcastle's Tapeta surface last time. Dandy's Beano was only caught in the dying strides on soft ground at Nottingham and the 12lb he receives from the selection should enable him to go close again.
