Verdict

Graceful Act has not won since landing a shock success in this contest last year and has presumably been primed for a repeat performance. She's only 2lb higher than last season and is respected. However, ISLAND SONG impressed when striding clear to score at Ayr on her first start for Tristan Davidson and a first start on Turf. She's very lightly-raced after only five starts and could well have more to offer. Clarabel looks the main danger if in the form which saw her hunt up course specialist Bit Of A Quirke two starts ago and Faye McManoman has been creating a good impression this season. Correggio was more like it latest and is respected along with Lazarus and Different Journey. Note the latter in the market especially as Michael Easterby has booked Serena Brotherton.
