      Verdict

      Deferred has a recent run under his belt but is conceding weight to the younger horses including VETIVER. The latter carries a penalty but it was soft ground when she won over a shorter trip here in September and Andrew Balding’s yard remains in fine form. Samagon is preferred to Dome Of Stars on a debut fourth at Kempton while Mount King placed in a Curragh maiden last year and makes more appeal than stablemate American Oak on her first start for new connections.
