In depth

Verdict

Vera Drake was narrowly beaten into fourth on her debut then only just failed to overhaul Claudine on good to soft at Lingfield. She'll be much better suited by today's stiff track and will be difficult to beat but APPLE ANNI, who was only just behind her in that latter event on her debut, can reverse the form and take this. Allnite was well supported to make a successful debut at Chester but weakened after being up with the pace while the likes of Firby and How Bizarre have shown enough to suggest they can get involved with normal progress. Dragon Tattoo is by Zoffany but wasn't an expensive purchase and is best watched.
