In depth

Verdict

NINE IRON improved with every run in his first campaign and Mick Channon's grey made a winning reappearance at Wolverhampton on Tuesday. He looks capable of defying a penalty. Dolphin Village pulled very hard on his reappearance at Leicester and, with that under his belt, is expected to do better while Chant showed plenty of promise in his first campaign and stepping up to this trip won't do him any harm at all. Ofcoursewecan showed potential in Polytrack maidens before finishing tailed off at Wolverhampton in a performance that was too bad to be true.
