      Verdict

      NORTHERN WATER landed a maiden over track and trip with a bit to spare on his latest start. It will be a surprise if the fourth Captain Midnight can reverse running and Karl Burke's colt can follow-up. Augusta Ada can be forgiven a modest effort in much better company last time and is more at home at this level while Innocently is another dropping down a grade and expected to go well. Overstep has been dropped 5lb after only one start handicapping when well beaten at Catterick and Fuel Injection has a 9lb rise to contend with after an easy win at Ripon.
