    Verdict

Final bids for a hat-trick off a 5lb higher mark on the back of a couple of course wins but he was behind JACBEQUICK over course and distance before that. The latter won here again last week to notch-up his fifth success at the track and given the nature of that impressive four-length victory, David O’Meara’s charge can defy a penalty in his current form. Admirable veteran Dubai Dynamo ran well again at Ripon recently but Homeland was behind Final here a fortnight ago and Dawn Mirage and Bronte Flyer have a bit to find.
