Verdict

Arabian Jazz didn’t improve as much as expected when starting favourite at Brighton and staying on late for third. Mark Johnston’s Rampant Lion is preferred to stablemate If We Can Can as both step up in trip while jockey bookings suggest Poet's Dawn may do best of Tim Easterby’s three runners. But a chance is taken on JAFFAR showing further progress with this stiff 7f expected to suit after a better effort at Haydock last time.
