In depth

Verdict

Metronomic won on the all-weather earlier this year and went in again when landing a seller at Ripon last month but NISEKO makes most appeal in this having been caught close home at Brighton on last week’s handicap debut. Bill Muir’s charge can race off the same mark today and is taken to go one better. The remainder are harder to fancy with Rosemay and Lady Kaviar stepping up in distance and Mr C and Rainbow Chimes having their first starts in a handicap.
