Verdict

Richard Fahey has won this twice in five years and SHOW ME THE MUSIC made such an encouraging debut behind two well supported rivals at Doncaster that she can continue the sequence. Peak Princess is an obvious threat having led for a long way before succumbing to the favourite Blending at Newmarket. Baileys Apprentice set the pace over the track and trip in the race won by Total Star here earlier this month but had no answer when the front pair kicked on. Mistress Viz ran quite well at Ayr but will need more while Giles Bravery isn't a regular visitor here so the 60,000gns yearling Patching is one to keep an eye on.
