ANABEL made such an impressive debut when beaten a short-head at Goodwood that she was backed as if defeat were out of the question on softer ground at Ayr but failed to make the expected progress and had to settle for second again. Providing the going doesn't ease, she should recoup losses. Walsingham Grange arrives from Newmarket with a couple of decent runs at Doncaster and Ascot behind him and if the selection flops again he looks the one to take advantage. Deansgate ran well over slightly shorter here last time and looks best of the remainder though Media World would be one to note if attracting support.
